Summary of the dissertation’s new contributions:

New academic and theoretical contributions:

The dissertation hascomprehensively systematized and further deepened the theoretical framework concerning the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation in the new context. The dissertation identifies six fundamental components of the work of protecting the Party’s ideological foundation at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politicsin the current period, including:

(1) Thoroughly grasping and organizing the implementation of the guidelines, policies, and resolutions of the Communist Party of Vietnam on protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, and translating. Them into programs and plans for the implementation of polictial tasks;

(2) Assigning responsibilities and coordinating forces involved in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation;

(3) Implementing the contents and forms of activities aimed at protecting the Party’s ideological foundation;

(4)  Building and developing a contingent of core forces;

(5) Inspecting and supervising the implementation process of protecting the Party’s ideological foundation;

(6)  Conducting preliminary and final reviews and evaluating the implementation process of protecting the Party’s ideological foundation.

New findings drawn from research and survey results:

The dissertation draws several practical experiences from the process of implementing the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

It also proposes a system of solutions to strengthen the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation at the Academy in the current period, including two breakthrough and distinctive solutions:

(1) Enhancing connectivity, coordination, and the promotion of the combined strength of units, organizations, and forces both within and outside the Academy;

(2) Expanding international cooperation in theoretical research and the exchange of experiences related to the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation.
